Pre-Marital Counselling
My fiancé and I walked into Pastor Andre's office excited to start the process of preparing for marriage. We never anticipated that we would have to complete a couple's analysis. Going through the results, which required our complete honesty, helped us to break down future barriers that we may encounter as a married couple. This process allowed us to delve into our own personal background and family childhood. We never thought that some of the challenges in our relationship could possibly impact our future. Thank you for breaking "us" down together and individually. and then re-creating our new togetherness. We believe after 6 months of counselling we can honestly say we know some things to expect. Definitely worth coming back to Pastor Andre for a refresher course to see how we are doing and possibly improve our relationship (or family) down the road.

I entered in Andre Anderson's office on a mission to have him fix my children, after all, they were the problem. He had a way of creating in me a feeling of safety towards him, I knew he had my best interest at heart and his constant reassurance, encouragement and kindness broke me down (kind of like Jesus did). With his love and a gentle nudge here and there, he helped me to see that my children were not my trigger but the me I had yet to face in them was. You're here because you have a problem and you are exploring what options may be available or it's possible that you're discovering new things about life and seeking guidance.I'd like to briefly share three (3) lessons on leadership that you may wish to consider.- #1- There are a myriad of views about leadership, it's definition, meaning, types of leaders, etc. I think we can agree that a common definition and intent of any leader is to inspire a group of individuals to achieve a goal.-#2- Even while we examine a leader's intentions, the other matter to consider is the "effect" on the team and the goal.-#3- As a matter of course, I would consider some of the following qualities:- servant- self-reflection- healing- self-awareness- listeningWhy did we choose Andre Anderson? We chose Andre and B.S.T.L. because they consistently delivered in their leadership, knowledge and behavior in navigating our organization through tough discussions and contending with hard choices when our firm shifted to a wellness focus. We chose them because all companies and organizations have belief systems and we felt it important to design a vision that supported our aspirations and work.I cannot convince you to do anything but if I had to hire the best servant leadership skills for my project - it's B.S.T.L.
